Justice Santiago M. Kapunan

Justice Kapunan brings a wealth of legal experience, with forty-four (44) years of government service, to his law practice. He recently retired from the Supreme Court in 2002 where he spent nine (9) years as an Associate Justice of the High Tribunal. Prior to this, he served as Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeals and as Acting Head of the Land Registration Commission (LRC). He is a member of University of the Philippines (U.P.) Law Class of 1956.

Justice Kapunan is currently the OIC of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. Justice Kapunan has extensive experience in local and international arbitration and has served in numerous arbitral tribunals.

Justice Kapunan is a member of the New York Bar Association.

Atty. Peter John U. Javier

Atty. Javier is a member of University of the Philippines Law Class of 1996. He was a court attorney with the offices of Justice Santiago M. Kapunan (1997-2002) and of Justice Antonio T. Carpio (2007-2008). He obtained his Master of Laws from Kyushu University (Japan) in 2002 as the first Filipino recipient of the Japanese Government Young Leader’s Program. He has held various teaching positions at the University of the Philippines, University of the East and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Atty. Javier was the OIC of the Office of the Halls of Justice of the Supreme Court.

Atty. Adel A. Tamano

Atty. Tamano obtained his Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, where he was a Graduate Program Scholar and Islamic Legal Studies Program Scholar. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines and was awarded by the College as its distinguished Alumnus (2007). He is an alumnus of the College of Law of the Ateneo de Manila University.

Atty. Tamano was previously with the Law Office of Former Solicitor General Estelito P. Mendoza. He has extensive experience in criminal and appellate practice.

Additionally, Atty. Tamano was the former President of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He was also President of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU). Atty. Tamano is the author of the “Handbook on Impeachment under the 1987 Constitution.

Atty. Tamano is a trustee of the Harvard Law Association of the Philippines. He is also a columnist for the Philippine Star.

Atty. Tamano is currently the dean of the College of Law at the Liceo University.

Atty. Aquil Tamano

Atty. Tamano obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Santo Tomas in 2001 and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Atty. Tamano was previously with the Department of Justice as an Assistant Provincial Prosecutor for Lanao del Sur. He was also formerly an Associate with the Quasha Ancheta Pena and Nolasco Law offices. He was a professional lecturer at the Mindanao State University, College of Law.

Justice Oswaldo D. Agcaoili

Justice Agcaoili is a retired member of the Court of Appeals. He is a foremost authority on Land Titles and Property Registry having written numerous books on the subject matter. Justice Agcaoili was formerly an Assistant Solicitor General. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Philippine Judicial Academy.

Atty. Errol J. Zshornack

Atty. Zshornack is a member of the University of the Philippines Law Class of 1991. He has had extensive litigation practice in areas such as business, criminal prosecution and defense, real estate, landlord-tenant, family, labor, torts, contracts, immigration and intellectual property. He obtained his Master of Laws from Golden Gate University School of Law (San Francisco, CA) in 2010 where he also obtained an award for excellence in legal writing and research. Atty. Zshornack is also a member of the State Bar of California and admitted in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (covering appeals from U.S. District Courts in the States of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands), the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of California (San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland and Santa Rosa) and the Central District of California (Los Angeles). Atty. Zshornack is also an active member of the American Bar Association and its Real Property, Trusts and Estates section.
